1. The Production Cycle of 5 Elements
Wood produces Fire: Fire needs fuel to sustain. Therefore, wood is the fuel for fire to sustain.
Fire produces Earth: Fire engulfs everything into ashes and returns back to Earth.
Earth produces Metal: Metals are natural minerals hid beneath the Earth.
Metal produces Water: Metal does not produce water in actual but purify water.
Water produces Wood: Water grows wood. Plants need water to grow.
2. The Controlling Cycle of 5 Elements
Metal controls Wood: Axes, metal, chopped down wood.
Wood controls Earth: The roots of the plants is able to hold earth together or penetrate earth, thus breaking up soil.
Earth controls Water: Earth provides water it’s shape.
Water controls Fire: Water extinguishes fire.
Fire controls Metal: Metal is melted by fire.
3. The Weakening Cycle of 5 Elements
The 5 Elements are weakened by the element that produces it. Therefore, Metal weakens Earth, Earth Weakens Fire, Fire weakens Wood, Wood weakens Water and Water weakens Metal.
